Raven really enjoyed all aspects of going to the game, while Shaylee was just disappointed that we didn't catch a ball.

1st Day of School 2008

I had to force the smiles, (if you couldn't already tell). To be honest, they weren't all that excited this morning, although Raven was ready to go, and waiting on the rest of us to get ready. I'm sure after a day back in class, they will love it all over again (X-fingers).

Even with all 3 of them, they were no match for the trick candles I put on her 9th birthday cake tonite. It was good, half cookies and cream ice cream, and half cake.

My first vid upload - Christmas 2005

Yeah, I know the video is 3 years old, but it's all I had laying around. This was Christmas 2005, I bought Angie this camcorder, and we hardley use it. Now that I got the process down, we'll probably upload all of our video.

Kind of a pain to get it all converted and uploaded. I used SimpleDivx to convert the .VOB from my dvd-camcorder into a divx file. Then I uploaded it to video.google.com. Uploading to youtube.com now as well, so we'll see how that one turns out.

And she's off!!

Raven has taken all of about 15 minutes to learn how to ride her first bike. She's a blur cause shes approaching 88mph and you know what that means. GREAT SCOTT!!

It's officially a boy!!!

He's finally here. We've got a couple ideas for names. He weighs in at 6lbs 2oz. Not 100% sure on the other stats but will post them as soon as they come back. We're just glad he is here safe. Near instant labor once again right after the water broke. wooooohoooo.

Well, Angie had a doctors appointment today and he said she was already dialated to 6cm. So here we are at the hospital ready to roll. We still don't have a name yet!!

Justins Birthday Party

Raven and her friend Justin shown here having a blast at CB Smith water park right down the road. This place actually rocks for kids and adults. A bit pricy but if you want guaranteed sleep and quiet from your kids afterward, this is the place to bring them.

Open For Business!!

Slowly but surely we are converting everything into liquid cash with our first of MANY Yard Sales. The girls are experiencing first hand the luxuries and travesties of owning and operating a small business in the refreshment industry. Business is good first thing in the morning, but now things have slowed down, and they are losing faith in their investment. I think the market will pickup shortly.

I found this hiding in the pantry. Not sure what is missing yet, but i found the letters KMR carved on the inside of the door.

Retainer halfway done

Well I managed to get 2 layers of the wall up. Not sure I like how low it is with only 2 levels of stone. Even though it looks small... that was a lot of work for 1 dude. Done for the day. I think I'll add one more layer tomorrow or this weekend and then start on the landscaping inside.

My first useless blog post

Well, here it is. Our first blog. I figured I'd start with this little project I'm working on outside of Raven and Shaylees' room. This looked like a haunted house jungle previously. I wish I would've thought to take a before picture... it was a disaster. I'm going to try and put a white castle stone retaining wall here with a little landscaping. More to come as I progress.
